Today is the day I begin my 60 day total wellness and good health conversion. I just received my melaleuca wellness pack and gathered all my toxic home cleaning solutions, bathroom soaps, hand sanitizers, facial cleansers, shampoo, etc. etc. then replaced them with the melaleuca items. Why am I creating a blog for this? Well, I thought it would be nice to share a daily diary about the outcome of my total conversion to the Melaleuca brand.
A little about myself. I am a 33 year old mother of three and when I say old I mean it. I feel old everyday of my life, ever since I have given birth. I have no energy, I don’t feel like playing with my children and I am grouchy all the time. I know I can blame it on post-pardum stuff but my youngest child is already 6 years old.
I am aging quickly with wrinkles on my forehead, white hairs and balding. My nails are thin and my skin feels dry and itchy all the time. For the past 4 years I have been plagued with chronic allergies. Large red welts will form on my body in every place imagineable if I do not succumb myself to the allergy medications, namely: allegra, claritin, zyrtec and benedryl (side effects or what?) then i will be constantly thinking of how itchy I am and I can no longer function properly.
My children are all diagnosed with asthma and allergies also. i feel like they are too young to be taking medications nightly to help alleviate their health problems. What kind of effects will this have on their internal organs in the long run? I don’t know and I do not want to continue the agony.
I have had enough. I do not want to feel old so quickly and bald at a young age. I want young, healthy, vibrant skin. I want my children to live free of medications. Want to see our medicine cabinet? So, I have made a drastic move to change everything toxic in my home. Melaleuca claims that they are eco friendly and if I do the things necessary to change the condition and environment of the gases in my home and around me then they say it will have a positive effect on my family’s health.
